I had no doubt that is would run. These 450's are amazing and will run for thousands of miles and years. I've been riding since age 16, and now 76 decided to get a 450 similar to one I had in the 70's and found a nice CM450 version. Sitting for 2 years with old gas and stabilizer thankfully, hooking up a battery, turing on the fuel flow it fired up on the second crank. Needing a tire, brakes, coil it runs like a charm. Enjoying the ride without windshield like I did in my youth.

If its converted to manual shift uou should pull off the electric shift motor to make sure its disabled or youll screw up the engine just have to zip off the little gear in there

Dude that's a good idea.. I made a simple roof outta conduit and a tarp in the 90s.. It was nowhere near as nice as this..
